Out-of-tolerance loads
Rounds that measured outside spec at QC — overpressure, dimensional, or load-weight failures that disqualify the lot.
When a loaded round falls outside spec, it can't be sold and it can't be melted as-is. We render it inert in our proprietary popping furnace, recover the brass, lead and copper, and hand you a certificate of destruction for the lot.
Popping happens before smelting, every time — it's the reason we designed and built our own furnace. Out-of-spec doesn't mean out of options.
If it's loaded, small-arms, and outside spec, this is the path.

Full production runs pulled from the market or the line. We take the lot and document its destruction.
Defective loaded ammunition other vendors would not handle — the exact case our process was built for.
Old, mixed or unidentified small-arms rounds, and duds recovered during range cleanup.
Loaded rounds are pulled from the mixed material by hand and by process.
The rounds are rendered inert in our proprietary popping furnace.
Brass cases, lead and copper are recovered from the furnace.
Metal goes to our smelter; you receive the certificate of destruction.
Loaded rounds can't go into a melt, so most recyclers turn them away. We designed and built a proprietary furnace that renders them inert first — whether it's a sweepings bucket or a full out-of-spec production run.
Popping happens before smelting, every time. It's the reason we designed our own furnace.
Popped rounds still hold brass, lead and copper. That value is credited against the job or paid to you.
Every lot gets a certificate of destruction — a clean record of where your rounds went.
A pallet, a bucket or a full rejected run — tell us what you have and we'll confirm the material, the disposition and the certificate.
